"This is about a search for a “Home”, about finding comfort, about finding your ground. When you are an immigrant, you find yourself trying to fit in and be part of the surroundings of your new place. The same feeling comes when you visit your motherland… it feels somehow foreign and you find yourself trying to be part of it as well. This creates a feeling of displacement. You feel like you are in between constantly. This installation is an approach to all these feelings."
