"Bored to Death"

The great thing about having an "almost-vacation" is that you get to be a bit lazy guilt-free.  I have been watching this new tv-series (pardon: HBO-series) called "Bored to Death" and I highly recommend it.  Like almost everything that HBO does, it is smart, and well balanced, really funny and with a great cast.

The show is about a writer that lives in Brooklyn.  He is short in cash so he decides that he is going to put an ad on Craigslist offering services as an unlicensed private investigator. It has a very good film-noire feeling/Woody Allenish vibe.   Jonathan Ames is the creator and he lends his name to the main character (played by Jason Schwartzman).  Ted Danson plays his boss, George and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) plays his best friend Ray.  Together they have all sorts of adventures with one new case to solve on every episode.

Ted Danson is hilarious!  I missed him on TV.
